Nashville has been a magnet for musical talent since at least the 1930s. Today, that pull is stronger than ever, and it’s drawing not only songwriters and instrumentalists from all genres, but film composers, multi-media authors and new-era entrepreneurs. The Music Council wants Music City to be the most welcoming place on Earth for today’s musically-connected creatives. So here we’ve tried to pull all of the city’s support organizations and resources together in one place. Click here for an overview of Nashville’s Performing Rights Organizations (and what they do), its music associations and its many learning and networking opportunities. If you represent an organization or company that is not on the list and you think it should be, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
